OBJECTIVES
- A year of socialization and awareness of other children
- Learning to separate from parents and learning to take direction from other adults
- Simple and creative art activities, which will include many kinds of art medium and the opportunity to paint, paste, cut, and color
- Listening to stories and having a chance for verbal expression through rhyming, finger plays, music enjoyment and show & tell
- Making choices and solving problems
- Learning to attend to a task for short periods of time
 

OBJECTIVES
- All objectives of the 3-Year Old Program, plus:
- Enjoyment of school, pride in ones self and in ones accomplishments
- More emphasis on verbalization
- Working cooperatively during projects, play, and cleanup
- Introduction to reading readiness skill, color blending, calendar fun, science exploration, patterning, sequencing, and graphing
-Letter and number recognition, and writing skills
 

We currently offer two extended programs for the 4-year old class that meet from noon to 2:30 pm and includes eating lunch with friends and teachers. Enrollment is limited.

Bookworm Bunch
Bookworm Bunch program focuses on early literacy and language development. It's goal is to further stimulate your child's love of communicating, reading, and writing by offering more time in a rich language and literacy environment.

Meets Mondays - Noon to 2:30 pm

Little Explorers 
During Little Explorers, your child will experience "a wide variety of fun activities such as: walking field trips, math exploration, hands-on science experiments, art, music, and dramatic play, all while developing his/her scientific thinking skills."

Meets Wednesday - Noon to 2:30 pm
